Join the Yarra Energy Foundation, residents of Fitzroy North, and project partners for the official launch of the country’s first inner-urban community battery! All welcome

Catch a glimpse of the future of suburban energy storage and the first of it’s kind in Victoria. With eye-catching colour, the battery represents our collective efforts to electrify homes with renewable energy and take real action on climate in ways that uphold and include the voices of the local community.

The launch is set to attract proponents from across Victoria, interstate and overseas, and may be the biggest community battery networking event of the year!

The pilot battery project has been funded by the Victorian Government through the Neighbourhood Battery Initiative, delivered by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).
